Story behind the course

In spring 2018, Reaktor and the University of Helsinki came together with the aim of helping people to be empowered, not threatened, by artificial intelligence (AI). Together they built the Elements of AI course to teach the basics of AI to people from a wide range of backgrounds.

The course has over 130,000 registered students so far and has been ranked on Class Central as one of the highest-quality free online courses. Now AI Innovation of Sweden has decided to bring the course to Sweden with the aim of teaching the basics of AI to at least 1% of the Swedish population.
